Well after putting off taking an exam for several years and saying I will do it shortly, then exams changing. I finally leapt back into the fray and took my Azure Fundamentals exam.

The other week, I decided to sign up to the Azure Fundamentals course through Microsoft Virtual Training Days, one of the advantages of this was that it came with a free exam voucher (well worth it!). Some study sessions on an evening and some practice exams through A Cloud Guru, today culminating in me taking my AZ-900 exam.

Being my first exam, I had done under the Online Proctored process through Pearson VUE, and I must say I was very impressed and look forward to doing my next through the platform. Apart from the issues yesterday when I was unable to book the exam due to a global outage, the whole process was seamless from start to finish.

Next up is the AZ-300 and AZ-301 (although may go down the beta route?)
Time to add a few more of these cool badges!
